Steps involve in grant of Patent
Patentability Search: A patentability search enables one to check the patentability of an invention before applying for patent protection. The basic requirements for patentability are as follow

i. Innovation: The invention disclosed should not be in public domain around the globe before the date of filing of the patent application.

ii. Inventiveness: The invention, discovery, and design are not obvious to a person skilled in the art.

iii. Industrially applicable: Invention should possess utility, so that it can be made or used in the industry. The patent search is conducted in subscribed patent databases that cover patents from around the globe. The information/report cites similar patents and relevant literature to help ascertain the probability of a patent grant to an invention. The report is delivered in spreadsheet, or an MS-word format. Additionally, electronic copies of the patents are provided. The patentability report is delivered within 4 to 5 days.
Patent drafting/pleadings

i. Patent drafting is the skills and art of techno-legal script to cover various features of an invention in a written techno-legal format. An expertise professional of his field and project are able to draft it only.

ii. Provisional patent application drafting: Provisional patent specifications drafting services are usually availed by clients when sufficient details are not available to draft a complete patent specification. A Provisional Application which provides immediate filing date and protection for the invention. Upon drafting and filing a provisional application, a complete patent application has to be drafted and filed within 12 months of filing the provisional application. This application will never proceed further or will not give you any protection as such but it will give you 12 months of time and you are allowed to claim "Patent Pending" Status for 12 months.
